Ray had a long life at the track, retiring when he was 7 years old.  He came to us in June of 2019, having been already started.  Deb Rosen began working with him and started competing him at Novce, and then Training.  We noticed that he would be sporadically slightly off. We had him checked by the vet and tried time off, then some different shoeing and other options.  Finally, an MRI showed us that he needed surgery on his tendon sheath, which he had at the end of last year.
 
Ray is currently re-habbing in a 2 acre field.  He seems to be enjoying his time off, hanging out with his new buddy, Hogs!
